One of the greatest weapons forged against the onset of Shaytaan and his troops is sincere Tawbah.
Every human is susceptible to make mistakes. Qur’an gives them hope and teaches them to ask Allaah to take care of them and guide them to the right path.
The Prophet (ﷺ) stated:
مَنْ تَابَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ مِنْ مَغْرِبِهَا تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
"Whoever repents before the sun rises from the west, Allaah will accept his repentance." [Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2703]
This narration, and a myriad of others with similar meaning, serves as an admonition for all who hear, see and give thought; remembering that perfection is for Allaah alone.
As for the created nature of the children of Adam, then it is indeed flawed, in need of Allaah’s mercy.
Thus we must be ever-mindful of this need and heedful of the fact that nothing comes between the slave of Allaah and Tawbah, no matter how grave the sin.
So, come let us explore, reflect, realize, & purify our souls by turning to repentance & forgiveness.
