Ali Ibn Al-Hussayn said, "We would be taught the maghaazi (seerah) of Rasulul-Allaah (sallaAllahu alayhe wasallam) just like the Qur'aan."
Allah made Prophet Muhammad (sallaAllahu alayhe wasallam) our leader, protecting him from evil. He made him a role model for us.
He was truthful.
He was a teacher.
Above all, he was the conqueror of hearts.
He was illiterate: he could neither read nor write. He did not carry a pen or a book. Instead, Allaah poured revelation into his heart.
Thus, he memorized the Qur'aan and all that Allaah revealed to him besides the Qur'aan.
Allaah has sent him as a one who invites to Allah, by His Leave, and as a lamp spreading light, as a mercy for the Alameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists)."
